ATA, CTA Unveil Online Database of Telehealth, mHealth Services
The American Telemedicine Association and Consumer Technology Association have launched an online database for providers and consumers looking for telehealth and mHealth solutions to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic.

By - The American Telemedicine Association and Consumer Technology Association have partnered to create an online database of telehealth and mHealth platforms and tools.
The Digital Health Care Directory includes products and services for both healthcare providers and consumers, both of which have increased their use of connected health solutions during the Coronavirus pandemic.

"Telehealth is facilitating the timely diagnosis and treatment of individuals, while limiting the risk of person-to-person spread of the virus," ATA CEO Ann Mond Johnson said in a press release. "Telehealth solutions are proving valuable, not only in this public health emergency, but also in day-to-day care delivery. We are inspired by our members on the front lines, and proudly stand together with CTA and AWS to help mitigate the spread of the virus and extend access to quality care for all citizens via telehealth."
“Our industry improves lives and uses innovation to help during times of crisis – and we are now rising to the challenge,” added CTA President and CEO Gary Shapiro. “This website will help the health care industry find telehealth solutions and address medical conditions. Our industry is proud to volunteer our time and expertise to offer help during a critical time of need. While much is still uncertain about the outbreak of COVID-19, there have never been more innovative tech solutions available to us all.”
The database was prompted by US Chief Technology Officer Michael Kratsios, who challenged the healthcare and technology industries at a meeting last month to create a resource identifying digital health products, tools and services.
“The Trump Administration recognizes the power of telemedicine and digital health solutions in keeping Americans healthy and safe during this unprecedented time, making it a priority to expand access for patients and doctors alike,” Kratsios said in the press release.
